I can’t believe it’s been a year (okay, a year and a couple days since I’m a complete scatterbrain =/) since I first published Complications on Amazon. And now, I’m in the UK getting my Masters degree in Creative Writing, and this is coming from someone who’d been absolutely terrified to take even one creative writing class in college. To go from secretly writing romance novels in my room at night, to pursuing a degree in fiction writing is mind-boggling and I’ve loved every single second of it.
A year ago, I was fresh out of college and struggling to find a job with my liberal arts degree. I happened to stumble upon kboards, a self-publishing goldmine, and thought, why don’t I at least try? By the time Connections hit Amazon, the third book in my first series, I was officially a full-time author, a dream come true.
Electric and The Fifth Lesson followed. I’ve written more than 250,000 words in the past year alone and I have a feeling there’s much more to come. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along this journey and I can’t wait until my two, three, five, ten, twenty year anniversaries come around. 🙂
